This started out as a small sketch of a random picture I found online, but my friend Marissa wanted me to draw a bigger, cleaner version, so here it is. I think she's gonna hang it somewhere in her house.
The lyrics are from Grace Potter & The Nocturnals' "Nothing But The Water", which provided inspiration to finish this.

Hey I read your post in the FB group on this one.
The way you constructed her neck and shoulder is fine, it's proportional in relation to that area. I believe it is the size in relation to her head that may be giving the wonky vibes. I would say at this point, you could try to bump up the size of the neck/shoulder to see if that fixes vibes (like do it on a piece of tracing paper to decide if you really want to alter it).
But dude, check out Audrey Kawasaki [link] if you haven't already, she keeps any detail around the shoulders to a minimum to keep your focus on the face, mainly the eyes, then the torso fades. THENSHEDOESTHISSEXYTHINGWITHWHITE
